Eden Home Health of Bellingham assists in the recovery of a grateful patient

In November 2022, Jane was released from the hospital after a surgery for a broken femur. She was grateful; however, at 75-years-old and still recovering from a serious injury, she was in dire need of help.

Fortunately, Jane was able to call on the team at Eden Home Health of Bellingham to help her get back on her feet. This is her story:

Dear Nicole and Hannah,

How grateful I was to be going home from the hospital following surgery for a broken femur in late November, 2022. However, it was a pretty scary proposition. I needed help with everything. I was fearful for the burden I was putting on my husband. And then the angels from Eden Home Health began to arrive. First came a nurse who was a tremendous resource for pain management and full of other helpful advice. Then the occupational therapists who got me to a place where I could dress myself, take a shower and transfer in and out of the car. And Olga, the lovely bath aid was so careful and helpful.

The stars of the show were physical therapists Anthony and Suzanne. Their consistent twice weekly visits inspired me, motivated me and got me to a place of walking with a cane two months post surgery. Not bad for a 75-year-old-woman.
